Shipping Policy

At Bulk Gourmet Emporium, we are committed to delivering high-quality products.  Because we deal with bulk weights and delicate gourmet items, please review our shipping guidelines below to understand how your order will arrive.


 

1. Order Processing Time

 

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

  • High Volume: During peak seasons (e.g., holidays), processing times may be slightly extended.

2. Shipping Rates & Estimates

 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated at checkout and displayed before payment.  Orders may qualify for free shipping and this will also be indicated at checkout.

3. Warm Weather & Perishable Goods

 

Certain gourmet items (such as high-quality chocolates, raw nuts, or oleaginous products) are sensitive to heat.

  • Summer Shipping: From March through September, heat-sensitive items may be held until temperatures improve.  We may also withhold dispatched to avoid sensitive product sitting in a warehouse over a weekend.

  • Ice Packs: We may include cold packs and insulation at no extra charge to ensure quality.

 

4. P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses

 

We use Royal Mail for deliveries and cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a valid physical street address for delivery.

 

5. International Shipping

At this time, we only ship within the United Kingdom.  We are working on expending the countries we can deliver too and will update this as we add international locations.

 

6. Damages and Issues

 

We take great care in packing glass jars and heavy bags. However, accidents can happen in transit.

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately at beechs@bulkgourmetemporium.com with:

  1. Your Order Number.

  2. A photo of the damaged product.

  3. A photo of the condition of the shipping box.

Note: We must be notified of broken glass or spillage within 48 hours of delivery to process a claim.

 

7. Missing Packages

 

If you receive a delivery confirmation email but have not received your package:

  1. Check around the delivery location (porch, garage, lobby).

  2. Check with neighbors or building management.

  3. Wait 24 hours (sometimes carriers mark items as "delivered" before arrival).

  4. If the package is still missing, contact us at beechs@bulkgourmetemporium.com.
