UK POSTAL SERVICE AND DELIVERY CHARGES

UK Deliveries

All our despatches are sent out by FIRST CLASS POST in protective cardboard boxes to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. 

Our postage costs in the UK are as follows:

If your order value is over £20.00 DELIVERY IS FREE OF CHARGE anywhere in the UK.

For orders less than £20.00 there is a charge of just £4.25.

UK items will be posted within 24 hours (Monday-Friday) by FIRST CLASS POST and should arrive next day if ordered before midday.  Please be aware that at seasonal and busy postage time this could take longer and is not guaranteed by Royal Mail.

For our bespoke ranges such as, Photo Boxes, 'Create Your Own' boxes or cards, you will need to place your order before 12.00pm midday Monday - Thursday if you want them delivered the following day.

If there are delays in orders going out we will notify customers immediately and should a parcel not arrive for any reason, we will work with you to identify the problem.

Delivery to place of work or alternate addresses:

If you know that the recipient of the order is not going to be available during delivery hours, you can arrange for delivery to go to an alternative address.   We can accept an alternative delivery instruction to a neighbour, office, reception or post room but Beech’s Chocolates cannot accept liability in the event that any product goes missing.

Deliveries to BFPO Addresses:

These orders will be dispatched by Royal Mail but may be subject to delays due to the nature of where they are to be delivered to.

Incorrect delivery address or Postcodes:

We will always use the exact address details that you enter upon registration or the delivery address designated.  Please make sure to check that you have entered the correct information before you place your order.  We cannot accept liability for late or failed deliveries due to an incorrect address.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES IN EUROPE

We deliver to all European countries as follows:

Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Boznia-Herzegovina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greenland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldavia, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden,  Turkey.

European delivery can be chosen by selecting ‘European Postage’ on Checkout

All International post will be sent via Royal Mail or Parcelforce dependant on the weight.  All items will be despatched within 24hours on weekdays but please allow 7-10 days for delivery due to delays that may occur in EU countries.   We cannot guarantee deliveries for specific dates.

All our products are in perfect condition upon leaving our factory.  Chocolate products are perishable and unfortunately, we have no control over the temperature or conditions of your order in transit.  As a result, we cannot accept responsibility for melted or damaged products.

Customs Charges

Some countries may add additional duties or charges, which we have no control over. These charges are always applied in the receiving country, where we have no way of predicting or influencing what they may be.  The recipient is responsible for paying any charges that arise.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES OUTSIDE EUROPE

 If you wish for a delivery to be made to a country outside the Europe, please call us on +44 (0) 1772 792808 during UK working hours (09.00 – 17.00 GMT) or contact us by email for a quotation or for further information.   We can then advise on postage costs relative to the size and delivery location of your order.   If accepted, we can take payment directly over the phone.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently made changes to legislation relating to the importing of food into the USA.   Therefore if we are to deliver an item to the USA, we are obliged to submit additional documents to the FDA and thus we will have to apply an additional £7.50 admin charge to orders which will automatically be included in quoted delivery charges.
